SARAH BUSBY

Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD, Bachelor of Health Science (Majored in Nutrition and Exercise Science), Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics , Member of Dietitian Association Australia (DAA)

Sarah is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and has experience working with people who find their relationship with food and their body difficult. She is a warm Dietitian who invites individuals to share their struggles around food and their body safely- she wants them to be validated and feel heard. Everyone’s story is different and in her sessions, Sarah works with each client in a way that they feel comfortable. She draws alongside individuals on their journey to feel valuable in their body and discover peace with food. She does this with kindness, compassion and care.

Sarah enjoys working with those living with an eating disorder as well as those who have any concerns around their food and body.

Sarah works through a Health at Every Size (HAES) Lense – an approach that embraces and normalises the diversity of all body shapes and sizes. She adopts the Non-Diet Approach to help people break free from dieting and food rules whilst guiding them with Intuitive Eating skills to embrace eating behaviours that lovingly honour and nourish their body without shame. Sarah has also been trained in Body Image Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. These therapies are helpful in unpacking beliefs and feelings that influence people’s relationship with their body, and move towards a life feeling valuable and worthy of purpose.
