MADISON PENZA

Provisional Psychologist – BPsych(Hons)

Madison is a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology). She is passionate about providing person-centred, evidence-based treatment for adolescents and young adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Madison works to create a collaborative, non-judgemental and safe therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported in their mental health journey. Her approach is warm and empathetic, emphasising client autonomy, self-awareness and self-compassion.

Madison believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change, and that clients are the expert in their own lives. She sees her role as walking alongside clients as they build the skills and understanding they need to navigate difficult experiences and create a life aligning with their values.

Madison has a special interest in supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns. She has experience supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, physical health concerns, trauma and neurodivergence. Madison’s therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E). She also has training in Maudsley Family-Based Therapy (FBT).

Outside of clinical work, Madison enjoys podcasts, board games, and good coffee- and will happily watch almost any sport.
