Carolina is a dedicated psychologist with a passion for helping clients overcome eating, weight, and body image challenges using evidence-based treatments. In addition to eating disorders, Carolina has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, low self-esteem, attachment difficulties, and personality disorders.

Carolina sees therapy as a transformative process, as a way to turn life’s difficulties into opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Carolina sees symptoms, whether physical or mental, as valuable feedback indicating that life is out of balance and should be explored.

Carolina draws from several modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal psychotherapy and internal family system theory. Her person-centered approach creates a warm, collaborative and genuine therapeutic environment. Carolina uses a trauma-informed approach and culturally inclusive care. She can provide therapy in Italian.

Carolina has extensive experience in private and hospital settings across the UK, Italy, and Australia. She holds a master’s in Clinical Psychology, with recent research focused on food aversion in Anorexia Nervosa. Carolina has general registration as a psychologist at the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and eating disorder credentials with Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED). Carolina abides by Australian Psychological Society (APS) professional conduct codes and standards.

Outside of work Carolina loves nature, dachshunds, travelling and pottery making.
