EDWARD (TED) MURRAY

Ted is a Clinical Psychologist who takes a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. He draws on a range of evidence-based treatments, including Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E), Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy. His approach is flexible and tailored to each person’s individual circumstances and goals.

Ted is passionate about helping people recover from an eating disorder. Ted has extensive experience working with eating disorders across residential eating disorder treatment settings and community outpatient settings. He also enjoys supporting people experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), addiction, personality vulnerabilities and longstanding patterns that may be impacting their wellbeing.

Ted believes that meaningful change begins with understanding both current difficulties and the experiences that have shaped them. He works alongside clients to develop insight, build on existing strengths, and create lasting change. With a strong focus on fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, Ted provides a non-judgemental space where clients can explore challenges openly and work towards a more fulfilling and valued life.

When not with his clients, Ted loves spending time with his wife and two young children.
