Renée Gagliardi

RENÉE GAGLIARDI (She/Her)

Provisional Psychologist – BCrim, GradDip(PsychSci), BPsych(Hons)

Renée is a provisional psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based psychological support to adolescents and young adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. Renée has a special interest in supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders and/or disorder eating. Renée also has experience helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation and interpersonal challenges.

Renée takes a warm, gentle and holistic approach to therapy. She strives to foster a safe therapeutic space to explore challenges with curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness. Renée believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful healing and growth, and she is committed to supporting individuals to navigate and untangle complex emotional experiences.

Renée’s therapeutic approach draws from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical and Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Renée also has training in Family-Based Therapy (FBT) through The Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED).

Outside of her clinical work, Renée enjoys spending time with loved ones, cozying up with a good book, or hiking. She also has a deep love for coffee and sweets.
